Chinese Billionaire Sparks Controversy After Having Over 100 Children

Khaberni - Reports indicate that 48-year-old Chinese billionaire Xu Bo, founder of the electronic gaming company Duoyi, has fathered over 100 children in the United States through surrogacy agreements.

Xu Bo is known on social media as "China's First Father", and has stated that he aims to father at least 50 "high-quality" sons, according to posts verified by the "Wall Street Journal".

Discussion about Xu Bo resurfaced following statements by his former girlfriend Tang Jing, who claimed last November that the number of children could exceed 300, confirming that she had raised 11 of them for several years.

Tang said in a post: "This number may be less than the actual count, but it is certainly not exaggerated."

The couple is currently in a dispute over custody of their two daughters, with Xu claiming his former partner owes him millions of dollars for expenses he incurred, while he has not directly commented on her claims regarding the number of children.

On their part, a representative of Duoyi company told the Wall Street Journal, "Much of what she described is untrue," but did not specify which claims.

It is believed that Xu was inspired in his plans by American billionaire Elon Musk, and wrote on the Chinese platform Weibo that he hopes his sons will one day marry Musk's children.

California court records show that Xu filed in the summer of 2023 for paternity rights for four unborn children and at least eight others born through surrogacy, but he faced the judge's rejection of these petitions, leaving the unborn children without legal recognition of their paternity.

Many of Xu Bo's children live in a house in Irvine, California, under the care of nannies, amid widespread controversy over their numbers and lifestyle.
