Petra University President Discusses Academic Cooperation Opportunities with Edmonds College Delegation

Khaberni - Petra University President, Professor Dr. Rami Abdel Rahim, welcomed a delegation from "Edmonds" College (Edmonds College) of the United States, where the two sides discussed ways to enhance academic cooperation and expand international partnership programs.
Abdel Rahim said that the visit aims to open new horizons for students and faculty members, adding that the university seeks to build global partnerships that support its academic vision and mission, and enhance its international presence through the development of sustainable cooperation programs.
The two parties held an introductory meeting that included a presentation about both institutions and discussed the potential cooperation opportunities in technical academic programs, student hosting programs, student exchange, and collaborative research projects.
The delegation from the visiting college was led by its President, Dr. Amit Singh, and included: Vice President for Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, Dr. Yvonne Terrel Powell; Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Kimberly Chapman; Executive Director of the International Programs Office, Amanda Fletcher; and Director of International Communication and Global Engagement, Thalia Sablad;
From Petra University, the meeting was attended by: Vice President, Professor Dr. Mai Al Rimawi; Assistant President for Agreements and International Cooperation, Dr. Kenza Mansour; Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Dr. Amer Al Joukhadar; Director of the Quality Assurance, Planning, and Measurement Unit, Dr. Ahmed Al Qasim; Vice Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Dr. Mai Al Nashashibi; and Director of Public and International Relations, Alaa Al-Din Arabiyat.
The delegation also toured the campus to see its academic, administrative facilities, and infrastructure that supports students and scientific research.
