Khaberni - The artist Amr Youssef revealed many human and personal aspects of his life, particularly about his relationship with his wife and children, and the extent of the overlap between family life and professional life.
Amr said in a television interview that he fully respects his wife, the artist Kinda Alloush's wishes, noting that she does not ask him not to work with a particular actress for example, nor does she interfere in such matters, adding: "Kinda never does that, but if there ever is a dispute between her and another actress, and I feel that working with that actress would bother my wife, then I would not work with her."
Amr Youssef added that the most life-changing decision he made was marriage, affirming that his life with Kinda Alloush is not just a traditional relationship, but a true partnership characterized by cooperation and understanding, where each supports the other in their personal and professional decisions.
He explained that their relationship is based on open dialogue and honesty, which has made their shared life a model for a marital relationship based on trust and mutual support.
Amr also discussed his relationship with his daughter "Hayat", describing it more as a friendship than traditional fatherhood, saying: "Hayat is daddy’s sweetheart and dear to my heart," emphasizing his daughter's extreme jealousy of him, especially from her mother. He never punishes her, but leaves the role of decisive punishment and upbringing to the mother, keeping himself in the role of "the fun dad with his children," as he described.
On another note, Amr Youssef stated that what annoys him the most in his professional life is negligence at work, clarifying that he is naturally calm and does not tend towards anger often, except during work, saying that stupidity and negligence in performing tasks are what most provoke his anger.
It is noteworthy that Amr Youssef continues his intensive cinematic activity through his new movie "The Ladder and The Snake 2," which was recently released in theaters, featuring Asmaa Galal, Majed El Masry, and a large number of actors, directed by Tarek Alarian.
