Maintenance Technician in Zarqa Al Shamusa Irreparable And I Advise Its Immediate Disposal

Khaberni - Khaberni - Following a series of painful incidents that occurred in the Hashemite area in the Zarqa Governorate, and in the capital, Amman, which resulted in the death of 10 people in less than 48 hours due to choking related to gas heaters known as "Al Shamusa", a longstanding stove repairman and maker in the northeast of the capital Jordanian Amman, warned of the dangers of keeping these heaters inside homes.

Abu Mohammad, a repairman and specialist in "stoves" for decades, stated to the site "Khaberni", that heaters "Al Shamusa" suffer from a fundamental manufacturing defect that makes it impossible to maintain or repair them safely, confirming that their continued presence in homes poses a direct danger to lives.

He added Abu Mohammad: "These heaters cannot be rehabilitated, even by specialists, due to their design that is not suitable for dismantling or safe modification. I advise everyone against storing them or attempting to repair them, instead dispose of them immediately".

He pointed out that a number of citizens contacted him after the warnings issued by the Public Security Directorate, which confirmed that "Al Shamusa" was the common factor in all recent cases of death and choking, explaining that he advised everyone who approached him to destroy the heater immediately.

The Public Security Directorate formed a governmental investigation committee to examine the heaters sold and available in the market, and precautionarily seized 5000 units of "Al Shamusa" from factories and shops, simultaneously sending samples to the Royal Scientific Society to determine the causes of the technical defect.

"Al Shamusa" is known as low-cost gas heaters marketed as economical and safe, but a series of deadly incidents prompted authorities to sternly warn citizens against using them.
