Khaberni - The Saudi Professional League announced on Thursday the postponement of the tenth round of league matches, following the national team's advancement to the semi-finals of the Arab Cup currently held in Qatar.
The league has set the new dates from 22 to 25 February for the tenth round, instead of the original schedule which was planned between 19 and 21 December.
This comes as the Saudi team prepares to play the semi-final match next Monday, with their opponent to be determined after the Jordan versus Iraq match scheduled for Friday.
The postponement decision is part of aligning the local competition schedule with the national team's participation in the regional tournament.
In a related context, the competitions committee decided to reschedule the semi-final matches of the King's Cup.
The semi-final matches will now be held on 16 and 17 March, instead of the previously scheduled 23 and 24 February.
Al-Nassr team leads the Roshan League standings with 27 points, four points ahead of Al-Hilal, the second-place team.
