Khaberni - The White House advisor, Sriram Krishnan, said on Friday that President Donald Trump's administration will work with Congress in the coming weeks and months to develop a unified national framework to regulate developments in the field of artificial intelligence.
Krishnan explained in his statements during the "First on CNBC" program on the CNBC channel that the executive order signed by President Trump on Thursday was necessary to ensure that companies can move forward in developing technology without having to deal with more than a thousand current regulatory regulations in the United States.
He added that this matter will ultimately require legislation from Congress, according to "Reuters".
He said, "So we will work with Congress in the coming weeks and months to ensure that a unified national framework is established that ensures our ability to win this race."
