Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold sells out immediately upon launch in South Korea

Khaberni - The launch of the "Galaxy Z TriFold" triple-fold phone by Samsung in South Korea was initiated on Friday morning, and the phone achieved great success starting its local sales.

Long lines of customers were seen queueing up in front of Samsung's retail stores across the country as the foldable phone was launched.

Dozens of consumers were seen lining up at 20 major stores of the company, reflecting significant interest in one of Samsung’s thinnest devices yet among its foldable models, according to the South Korean news agency Yonhap.

The new phone is 12.9 mm thick when folded and 3.9 mm when fully unfolded, equipped with a 6.5-inch external screen, and when unfolded, the screen size reaches 10 inches.

According to several reports, the available stock of the "Galaxy Z TriFold" sold out both in stores and online, despite its starting price of 3.59 million won ($2,430) for the 512 GB phone available in only one color, black.

It appears that "Samsung" has begun recording orders for restocking for customers in South Korea before the launch of the next batch of the triple-fold phone, but it is unclear when it will be available in stores.

The sell-out of the available quantities does not necessarily reflect a significant increase in demand, as the quantity could quickly sell out if only a few hundred units were manufactured.

"Samsung" stated that the phone will also be available in China, Singapore, Taiwan, the UAE, and the United States, although it has not yet confirmed the detailed timeline for its launch.

In the United States, it is expected to launch in early 2026, likely coinciding with the launch of the upcoming "Galaxy S26" series.
