Digital Economy Expands Scope of Electronic Financial Clearance Service in Municipalities

Khaberni - The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, in cooperation with the Ministry of Local Administration, announced the completion of visits to several municipalities and the full implementation of training and activation for the electronic financial clearance service for property.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Digital Economy on Friday, the activation included municipalities in the Balqa Governorate, where the service is now available in the Greater Salt Municipality and its areas Aira, Yarqa, Zai, Allan, Um Jozeh, Yazeediyeh, Wadi Al-Hoor, and Arminien, in addition to Ain Al-Basha Municipality and its areas Abu Nseir, Safout, Um Al-Dananir, Al-Rumman, Moubis, Salhoob, and Al-Salihiyah, as well as the municipalities of Mahis, Fuhais, and Al-Ardah.

The activation also covered Jerash Governorate through the Greater Jerash Municipality and its areas Souf, Kfeir, and Deir Liyat, and Ajloun Governorate through the Greater Ajloun Municipality and its areas Ain Janna, Rawabi, Al-Safa, and Anjara.

In Tafilah Governorate, the electronic financial clearance service is now available in the Greater Tafilah Municipality and its areas Al-Ain Al-Bayda, Al-Eis, Al-Hussein, Ayma, Bseira, Grendel, Al-Hassa, Jurf Al-Darawish, and Al-Qadisiyah.

The activation extended to include Ma'an Governorate, where the service was made available in the Greater Ma'an Municipality and its areas Rawdat Al-Amir Rashid, Bir Al-Baytar, Bir Abu Dannah, Basata, Eil, Al-Waheidah, Al-Fardakh, Al-Sidqah, Al-Murayghah, Loqrien, Ras Al-Naqab, Al-Manshiya, Adhruh, Al-Jarba, Hamza, and Al-Abdaliya, in addition to the municipalities of Al-Shoubak, Al-Sharat, Al-Ashari, Al-Husainiyah, and Al-Jafr.

In Zarqa Governorate, the activation of the service took place in the Greater Zarqa Municipality, and it also included the Ramtha Municipality and its areas.

Citizens can now obtain their financial clearance electronically and pay the due amounts easily through digital channels, without the need to visit the municipality, which helps to save time and effort and improve the service experience for recipients.

The digital transformation team in the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship continues to work on completing the activation of the electronic financial clearance service in other municipalities, as part of a comprehensive plan to develop digital government services and enhance their efficiency, positively reflecting on the quality of services provided to citizens and speeding up their transactions.
