Khaberni - The Attorney General of the State Security Court, Brigadier Military Judge Ahmad Talat Shhaaltough, announced that the Public Prosecutor's Office of the State Security Court has initiated the investigation procedures into the recent incident involving the martyrdom of three personnel from the Anti-Narcotics Department in one of the eastern areas of Amman. The accused in the mentioned case has been charged with several offenses, among them (the felony of resisting public employees enforcing drug laws and psychotropic substances using a weapon resulting in the repeated death of an employee "3 times") and is punishable by (death penalty as per the law).
The investigative documents will be submitted to the Attorney General of the State Security Court to issue the indictment against the accused, once the Public Prosecutor of the State Security Court completes the investigation procedures with the accused regarding the facts associated with that incident, including resistance against public employees enforcing drug laws and psychotropic substances and about the sinful actions concerning illegal communication with narcotics and psychotropic substances, and then refer him to the State Security Court for trial on the charges assigned to him according to the law.
