The president of Petra University, Professor Dr. Rami Abdel Rahim, met with the Jordanian karate family and the national team players, in the presence of the head of the federation, Hassan Masoud, and the administrative manager of the national teams, Firas Husooneh, and the technical director, Captain Mohamed Fetian.
Dr. Abdel Rahim praised the achievements of the national karate team in the World Championship in Cairo, affirming his pride in the notable development of Jordanian karate and its ability to achieve outstanding results at the global level.
The team's champions reviewed their journey and success stories and the milestones that led them to victory podiums, as the university students engaged with these inspiring experiences, considering them as a motivation to strive for achievement.
The head of the federation, Hassan Masoud, appreciated Petra University's commitment to enhancing communication with the Jordanian Karate Federation and the educational institutions' support for national sports.
The visit included a friendly football match that brought together stars of the national karate team and Petra University's team, amidst interactive atmosphere from the students.
The meeting was attended by the Dean of Student Affairs and the media spokesperson for the federation, Professor Dr. Eyad Al Melah, and the Director of Public Relations at the university, Mr. Alaa Arabiyat.
