Khaberni - The administration of American President Donald Trump plans to appoint an American general to lead the International Stability Force in Gaza, according to the website "Axios" citing American and Israeli officials.
The site mentioned that "this appointment will lead to an increase in the United States' responsibility in securing and rebuilding Gaza, which is turning into the largest civil-military political project in the Middle East in more than two decades."
On Wednesday, Trump said that it is expected that the names of world leaders who will participate in the Gaza Peace Council will be announced at the beginning of next year.
Trump explained to reporters during an economic event in the Roosevelt Room at the White House that a number of leaders want to join the council, which was established under the Gaza plan that led to an agreement to cease fire between Hamas and Israel.
