Khaberni - In a horrific accident in Rhode Island, USA, famous musician and Grammy nominee Roderick McLeod (70 years old) was killed during a morning walk with his dog when he was struck by a car driven by a woman with a controversial criminal record of over 100 arrests.
The accident occurred in the town of Hopkinton, when the accused Shannon Goodpot lost control of her vehicle, veered off the road and hit several telephone poles, before running over McLeod, who was walking beside the road with his puppy, according to Hopkinton police.
Immediate death
The late musician was transported to Rhode Island Hospital by ambulance, but doctors declared him dead upon arrival, according to the "New York Post". His dog survived the accident and returned home alone.
According to the police, Goodpot (41 years old) was caught at the scene and was found in possession of drugs and packaging materials typically used in distribution operations.
