Khaberni - Yazan Al-Naimat, the star of the Jordan national team, responded for the first time to the reality of negotiations with Al-Ahly of Egypt.
The name Yazan Al-Naimat was associated with transferring to the ranks of Al-Ahly during the upcoming winter transfer period to strengthen the squad of the holders of the Egyptian Premier League title.
Yazan Al-Naimat contributed to the Jordan national team's 3-0 victory over its Egyptian counterpart at the end of the group stage competitions of the Arab Cup 2025 currently being held in Qatar.
In his statements on the Qatar "Al-Kass" channel after the match, Al-Naimat avoided talking about the negotiations with Al-Ahly, confirming that his focus is with the Jordan national team.
Al-Naimat said: "All my focus is currently with the Jordan national team and the important matches in the Arab Cup."
He added: "I will respond to that question later, and I cannot prioritize over Al-Arabi club in anything."
Yazan Al-Naimat (26 years old) is linked to a contract with Al-Arabi club of Qatar until the summer of 2027, noting that he played 8 matches in the Qatari league this season, during which he scored 3 goals and made one assist.
It is worth mentioning that the Jordan national team qualified for the quarter-finals of the Arab Cup after achieving full points in the group stage, setting a date with its Iraqi counterpart next Saturday.
