Khaberni - Jordan hosts a new round of the "Aqaba Meetings" initiative on Tuesday, in partnership with Albania.
During his reception of the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, at Al Husseiniya Palace, in the presence of His Highness Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, His Majesty King Abdullah II emphasized the importance of enhancing dialogue among religions, which will be a main focus of the new round of the initiative. His Majesty also appreciated Albania's role in participating in hosting this round.
His Majesty King Abdullah II, in cooperation with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, chaired a new round of the "Aqaba Meetings" initiative in Rome on October 15, which was jointly organized with Italy.
The "Aqaba Meetings," launched by His Majesty King Abdullah II in 2015, aim to enhance security and military coordination and cooperation, as well as the exchange of expertise and information among various regional and international parties to combat terrorism through a comprehensive approach.
