Khaberni - The Minister of Government Communication and Official Government Spokesperson, Mohammad Al-Momani, stated that the implementation of the statistical draw for selecting the first batch of those tasked with national service adheres to the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, to conduct a transparent and fair selection process using precise computerized systems.
Al-Momani added, during a joint press conference, for selecting the first batch of those tasked with national service, on Monday, that exemption from national service will be granted to an only child, or those who can prove their medical unfitness, and deferrals will be granted to students enrolled in yearly-based programs, or those who have not completed their school education.
Al-Momani affirmed that the government continues to implement the national and reserve service law after completing its constitutional stages and publishing it in the Official Gazette, in line with the national objectives of the program.
