Khaberni - The Association of Arab Bankers, a professional society comprising a selection of bankers and professionals in sectors related to banking in the United Kingdom and the Arab world, headquartered in London, has awarded Miss Randa Al-Sadiq, the Managing Director of Arab Bank, the "Distinguished Contributions in the Arab Banking Sector Award for 2025" in recognition of her outstanding efforts and contributions to the Arab banking industry.

The honor took place during the association's annual gala recently held in London, attended by a selection of top Arab, European, and international financial and banking figures.

Commenting on this recognition, Mr. Gabi Fadel, the Managing Director of the Association of Arab Bankers, said: "We are pleased to honor Miss Randa Al-Sadiq in recognition of her exceptional achievements. Her wise leadership of Arab Bank - one of the most esteemed financial institutions in the Middle East and North Africa region - has made her the most deserving and qualified recipient of this prestigious award."

It is noted that Miss Randa Al-Sadiq has been the Chief Executive Officer of Arab Bank since 2022 and is the first woman to hold this position at Arab Bank. Al-Sadiq has four decades of banking experience, beginning her career in the banking sector in 1986, and has held several leadership positions at the National Bank of Kuwait in Kuwait and London before joining Arab Bank in 2010 as the Deputy Managing Director.

Miss Randa Al-Sadiq was also ranked by Forbes Middle East among the top 100 most powerful businesswomen in the Middle East for the years 2024 and 2025.

Miss Randa Al-Sadiq holds an MBA in Financial and Banking Sciences from the American University in Beirut. She was a member of the board of directors of the Association of Arab Bankers during the period from 2003 - 2007.
