Maan Weather Observation Station reaches 66 of its seasonal average

Khaberni - Raed Rafid Al-Khatab, Director of Meteorology Administration, stated that the Kingdom has been affected since the early hours on Saturday, 06/12/2025 by a state of atmospheric instability, where most regions of the Kingdom experienced rainfall that was concentrated in the southern and eastern areas, and parts of the central region, occasionally heavy, accompanied by thunder and hail, leading to flood formation in valleys and low areas.

By the grace of God, the totals of rainfall that occurred from the beginning of the weather condition until 9:00 AM on Sunday, 07/12/2025, for the current rainy season 2025/2026, improved significantly with good percentages ranging between (01%-63%) of their general seasonal averages.

Al Khatab reported that the highest rainfall total was recorded at Ma'an Observation Station, with a rainfall total of (27.2) mm, which is 66% of its general seasonal average, followed by Mafraq Observation Station with a rainfall total of (15.6) mm, which is 10% of its general seasonal average, followed by the Jordan University Station with a rainfall total of (14.5) mm, which is 3% of its seasonal average, followed by Jafar Observation Station with a rainfall total of (13.5) mm, 48% of its seasonal average.

King Hussein International Airport Weather Observation Station in Aqaba Governorate recorded a rainfall total of (10.1) mm, which is 43% of its general seasonal average, while Aqaba Port Observation Station recorded a rainfall total of 17.9 mm.

The table below shows the rainfall totals and the percentages achieved from the general seasonal average during the state of instability until 9:00 AM on Sunday, 07/12/2025.
