Khaberni - Netflix officially announces the release date for the awaited movie "Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man", which represents the new cinematic chapter of the famous drama series, four years after the series ended, eagerly awaited by the audience.

The platform has decided to screen the movie in cinemas on March 6th, before it becomes available for digital streaming on Netflix on March 20th.

The movie is set in the city of Birmingham during the 1940s, amid the atmosphere of World War II, where Tommy Shelby returns from his forced exile to face the most devastating confrontation of his life, amidst a crucial conflict that threatens the future of both the family and the country.

The Irish star and Oscar-winner Cillian Murphy continues to portray Tommy Shelby, in a film directed by Tom Harper and written by the series creator Steven Knight.

For his part, Murphy said in an official statement: "It seems that Tommy Shelby is not finished yet.. I am delighted to return to collaborate with Steven Knight and Tom Harper in the cinematic version of Peaky Blinders.. This film was made especially to satisfy the loyal series' fans."

According to the official summary, Tommy Shelby finds himself compelled to confront his past and inner demons amidst the chaos of war, in a crucial test that forces him to choose between saving his legacy or completely destroying it.

The cast includes a number of the original series' stars, including Sophie Rundle as "Ada", Ned Dennehy as "Charlie", and Stephen Graham as "Hayden", alongside Packy Lee and Ian Peck.

Also joining the cast are several new faces, most notably Barry Keoghan, Rebecca Ferguson, and Jay Lycurgo.

In contrast, reports confirm the absence of the character Arthur Shelby, previously played by actor Paul Anderson, after widespread speculation about his possible return.

The movie is part of a future expansion of the "Peaky Blinders" world, where Knight previously revealed plans for two new seasons that tell the story of the new generation of the Shelby family, with Cillian Murphy participating as an executive producer, without confirming his return to acting, making the current film a potential last appearance for the character "Tommy Shelby".
