Khaberni - The Meteorological Department warned of the formation of thunderstorms and active lightning in the coming hours.
The Meteorological Department called on drivers and citizens to exercise utmost caution due to some areas of the kingdom being affected by active thunderstorms in the coming hour, which may be accompanied by intense lightning and thunder, in addition to occasional heavy rainfalls that could lead to decreased horizontal visibility and the formation of flash floods in low-lying areas and valleys.
The Meteorological Department called everyone to:
- Avoid open places during lightning.
- Stay away from trees, poles, and metal signs.
- Drive cautiously on external roads, especially the desert road.
- Keep up with updates from the Meteorological Department continuously.
