Khaberni - The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has achieved a new global milestone by setting a Guinness World Record today as the most viewers for live volunteer teaching sessions in the category of volunteer education through the National Center for the Development of the Non-Profit Sector.

This achievement was unveiled during the proceedings of the International Non-Profit Sector Forum held in Riyadh, where an official representative from Guinness World Records attended the event; he announced the certification of the record after the number of concurrent viewers of a volunteer lesson broadcasted by the center via YouTube on December 2 reached 2,135 live viewers at the same moment, setting a new global record in this field.

A representative from Guinness World Records presented the official certificate to Ahmed Al-Sweilem, the CEO of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development, confirming the accreditation of this record in the name of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This achievement confirms Saudi Arabia’s entry into the Guinness World Records in the field of volunteer education, through programs of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development, reflecting the Kingdom’s growing role in establishing a culture of volunteer work and its organization, converting community enthusiasm into knowledgeable energy based on training and empowerment, contributing to enhancing the skills of volunteers and boosting their impact in serving the community.

This record is an extension of the Kingdom's efforts to support the non-profit sector and volunteer work as two fundamental pillars to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, by increasing the number of volunteers, expanding the areas of volunteer work, and developing innovative educational programs that meet the aspirations of the youth and enhance their active participation in national initiatives.

It is noteworthy that the International Non-Profit Sector Forum includes more than 80 speakers and 1,500 participants from leaders of international organizations, developmental entities, and social entrepreneurs, serving as a global platform to discuss the future of the non-profit sector and enhance its role in economic and social development, through showcasing innovative models and developing more flexible and effective operational mechanisms.
