Khaberni - The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority announced on Friday that it has raised the readiness level to medium in preparation for the expected unstable weather on Saturday, which may include active winds and the possibility of thunderous rain.
The Authority confirmed in a statement that it has taken the necessary measures to ensure a quick response to any developments that may arise with the onset of the weather condition.
The Authority urged citizens and residents to adhere to public safety guidelines, notably:
Avoid wadis and flood channels, and areas where water accumulates, and stay in safe places.
Drive cautiously, especially with active winds and rain, and ensure that any loose items are secured.
Follow weather forecasts from official sources only, which will be continuously updated.
