Egypt came in second with approximately 6,100 visas, followed by Jordan in third place with about 4,700 visas.
This ranking reflects the growing interest of many Arab citizens in immigrating to the United States in search of job and education opportunities and stability, especially in light of the economic and political challenges some countries in the region are experiencing.
According to data from the United States Department of State - Bureau of Consular Affairs, and according to a report by CNN, the statistics confirm the increasing role of immigration in shaping social and economic policies, in addition to its direct impact on population movement and mobility between countries.
