Khaberni - Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied on Thursday rumors that President Vladimir Putin rejected the American peace plan for Ukraine, confirming that Moscow and the United States have directly exchanged views on the terms of the plan, as part of efforts to find a realistic basis for settlement.
Peskov explained during a press conference that the Russian side has accepted a number of points in the plan, while reserving others, noting that the dialogue remains open and that the evaluation of the items is conducted according to considerations of Russian national security and the requirements for ending the conflict through political and diplomatic means.
