According to consistent sources, including the Doukkala associations network, non-governmental, the verdict came after trial sessions monitored by the local committee of the Moroccan Association for Human Rights, which announced its support for the victim throughout the trial stages.
According to the verdict issued, the six defendants were each sentenced to 15 years in prison after the court proved their involvement in the sexual assault on the child from the city of Youssoufia.
The rights network, following the widespread outrage caused by the case, called on the Ministry of the Interior to intervene by issuing decisions that prohibit staying overnight in tents during religious seasons, especially in the Moulay Abdellah Amghar season, to ensure safety and security of the participants.
