Khaberni - The Parliamentary Finance Committee continues today, Thursday, discussing the draft law of the general budget for the fiscal year 2026.
The committee discusses the budgets of the Ministry of Water and Irrigation, the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Authority, and the Supreme Council for Persons with Disabilities.
The head of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Nimer Al-Sulihat, explained that discussions on the draft law of the general budget for the year 2026 with ministries, institutions, and government units will continue next Sunday, December 7.
Al-Sulihat added in televised statements that the committee will present its recommendations regarding the budget under the dome next Monday, December 8, to open the floor for parliamentary discussion.
Al-Sulihat expects the deputies to finish discussing the budget and voting on it next Thursday, December 11, 2025.
