Khaberni - The Nashama managed to open their journey in the Arab Cup 2025 with an exciting and precious 2-1 victory against the UAE team, in a match held on Wednesday evening at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar.
The drama dominated the first half after the UAE defender Khaled Al-Zanahani was sent off in the 18th minute and Ali Alwan successfully converted a penalty into the lead goal, before the same player missed a second penalty in the 39th minute, which was bravely saved by goalkeeper Al-Maqbali.
In the second half, the UAE team quickly equalized through the Brazilian-born Oliveira in the 47th minute, but the Nashama waited for the right moment to snatch Yazan Al-Naimat's winning goal in the 63rd minute from a brilliant counterattack, ending the match with Jordan winning 2-1.
