Khaberni - Tottenham Hotspur is looking to appoint a psychologist for the football team, after its Italian coach Roberto De Zerbi said the team needs a change in mentality.
Tottenham has fallen to the bottom three positions in the Premier League, after a series of 15 consecutive matches without a win.
De Zerbi was appointed as Tottenham's third coach this season at the end of March, but he has only earned one point from two matches.
The Italian coach emphasized that his task is to instill the "right mentality" in the players, and it appears that the club is taking steps to help him achieve this goal.
In an announcement posted by Tottenham on the "LinkedIn" platform, the club announced the need for a distinguished performance psychologist to provide tangible psychological support to elite players, as reported by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
The advertisement added: The role includes individual support for players, systematic work at the level of the coaching and administrative staff, and continuous development of a performance culture based on sound psychological foundations for all team members.
It also added: This role requires a practitioner who is credible, confidential, and highly effective in the Premier League environment, capable of instilling confidence in players and coaches while working with the professional rigor expected at the highest level of the game.
