The opening match of the round ended with a victory for the home team (Barcelona) by a score of 3-1.

In the 26th minute, Barcelona received a quick counterattack, where Raphinha managed to receive a cross and penetrated, then dribbled past the goalkeeper and scored inside the net, achieving an equalizer.
In the 35th minute, the referee awarded a penalty after a harsh tackle on Olmo, and after returning to VAR technology, Lewandowski bizarrely missed it, sending the ball over the bar, wasting the chance to take the lead over Barcelona.
In the 65th minute, Olmo gave Barcelona the lead after a pass from Pedri.
In the 90+7 minute, Ferran Torres capitalized on a cross and converted it directly into the net, scoring Barcelona's third goal.
With this result, Barcelona enhanced its points tally to 37 points, leading Real Madrid, which plays on Wednesday, by 4 points, whereas Atletico Madrid remained in fourth place with 31 points.
