Khaberni - Yemeni sources reported this Tuesday afternoon that forces belonging to the Southern Transitional Council have arrived at Sah district in Hadramout Valley.

This comes as part of widespread military movements toward the city of Seiyun—the capital of the valley and desert—with a noticeable escalation in military mobilization in the province.

"Aden Independent" channel, the media arm of the Transitional Council, stated that these units are explicitly on their way to the headquarters of the First Military Region in Seiyun.

In a video broadcast by the "Aden" channel (affiliated with the Council), Faraj al-Bahsani, the deputy head of the Southern Transitional Council and a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, confirmed that the forces deployed in Hadramout came to "counter terrorism," claiming the emergence of "hotspots for ISIS and Al-Qaeda organizations, as well as gatherings of Houthi groups" in Hadramout Valley.

This field escalation comes days after the arrival of intense military reinforcements for the Transitional Council to various locations in the province, raising local and regional concerns about threats to civil peace, amidst escalating accusations among local parties about the intentions of mobilization and military expansion.
