Khaberni - Middle East University honored a group of its students who achieved first place in the Future Health Impact Hackathon, alongside those who represented the university at the third Asian Universities Debating Championship in the Sultanate of Oman.
The honoring ceremony was sponsored by the university president, Professor Dr. Salam Al-Muhadin, attended by the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hazem Al-Nasour, the Dean of the Law Faculty Dr. Ayman Al-Rafou, and the Dean of the Media Faculty Dr. Ramez Abu Hasira.
In her speech, Professor Dr. Salam Al-Muhadin emphasized that this recognition embodies the university’s perspective in building an integrated system to empower students, based on honing their intellectual and research skills, and enhancing their abilities to compete in global innovation spaces.
For his part, the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hazem Al-Nasour pointed out that the university continues to adopt a strategic approach supporting extracurricular activities as a direct extension of the educational process, explaining that such participations develop leadership spirits, self-learning, and abilities in expression and argumentation among the students, preparing them to confidently transition into the contemporary job market.
During the event, the students were honored, including: Shahd Al-Qa'tabi, Karmel Al-Madi, Zaid Abu Zahra, Huzafa Abu Hassan, Mahmoud Hammam, Mahmoud Al-Khawaldeh, and Anas Hassan.
