Khaberni - In the context of enhancing cooperation and exploring partnership opportunities in the fields of training and technical qualification and entrepreneurship, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Wadyan, president of Amman Arab University, received in his office a delegation from Mazen Programming Company headed by Ms. Heba Jawad, the CEO, Ms. Hadeel Al-Zaubi, the Executive Assistant, Mr. Mahmoud Mohammed, the IT Manager, and Mr. Mohammad Samadi, the Software Developer (Full Stack Developer), with the presence of Dr. Rami Sahweil, Dean of the College of Information Technology, Dr. Kamal Aliyan, Assistant Dean of the College, and Dr. Samer Ayasrah, Director of the Center for Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship at Amman Arab University.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation between the two sides, especially in the field of training IT College students and qualifying them for the job market through providing practical training opportunities inside the company, which offers students a real application environment that contributes to linking theoretical knowledge with practical skills, enhancing their professional readiness according to the requirements of modern technological sectors. They also emphasized the importance of organizing specialized training workshops and joint activities that are concerned with developing technical and practical skills of the students, providing them with advanced experience in various fields, including teamwork, solving technical problems, and dealing with advanced digital work environments, which contributes to enhancing their efficiency and increasing their competitiveness in the job market. The meeting also discussed the prospects of cooperation in the fields of leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship, through working on developing joint projects between the university and the company, which keeps pace with changing market requirements and supports the innovation system and contributes to the transformation of entrepreneurial ideas among students into practical projects that can be implemented, with the possibility of further development into entrepreneurial initiatives with economic and developmental impact.
At the end of the meeting, both parties affirmed the importance of enhancing the partnership between academic institutions and the technology company sector, due to its effective role in preparing qualified cadres capable of competing, and supporting the innovation system in Jordan.
