Khaberni - Egyptian director Hany Khalifa celebrated his engagement to the producer Rana Hassanein, in a quiet family atmosphere, away from the spotlight, to officially announce his engagement after a long career during which he presented a number of the most prominent drama and cinematic works in Egypt.

Khalifa shared a photo from the celebration moment with his followers on his official Instagram account, commenting on it saying: "The best producer in the world," in a spontaneous message that reflected his happiness with the engagement and his love and pride in his bride.


Director Hany Khalifa had previously announced his first marriage to director Sarah Noha in 2011, in a grand ceremony attended by many art stars.

Hany Khalifa is one of the most prominent directors of Egyptian drama, having directed the film "Journey 404" starring Mona Zaki and a group of prominent stars, including: Mohamed Farag, Mohamed Mamdouh, Khaled El Sawy, Sherine Reda, Mohamed Alaa, Hassan El Adl, Sama Ibrahim, Rana Rais, Jihan El Shammashergy, and Arefa Abdel Rasoul. The film was written by Mohamed Raja and directed by Khalifa.

Dramatic works
He also excelled in television drama through works that achieved wide success, including "Without Prior Warning" (2024) starring Asser Yassin and Aicha Ben Ahmed, in addition to "Layali Eugenie," "The Night and What's In It," "Namra Etnein," as well as the series "Above Suspicion" starring the star Yousra.


In cinema, he achieved a notable presence by directing the film "Late Nights," and he began his artistic journey as an assistant director in the film "Sweat of the Palms" in 1999 starring Sherihan and Abla Kamel, and participated in other prominent works such as "Nutshell Skin" and "Wall of Heroism."
