Mawlana Sparks Controversy with Najat Jabers Survival Scene from a Huge Explosion

Khaberni - "Mawlana", starring artist Tim Hassan, is one of the most prominent works that imposed its presence in the current Ramadan season of Arabic drama, amid a series of critical acclaim and notable public turnout.

The work first faced criticism when the main character "Jaber" survived an assassination attempt by rigging his car with explosives on orders from the barracks led by "Colonel Kifah", played by artist Fares Al-Halw, but despite the massive explosion, Jaber miraculously escapes death.

Many comments accusing the scene of being unrealistic, amidst wide controversy among viewers about the credibility of this event, and the possibility of someone surviving an explosion of this magnitude.

The series director Samer Al-Barqawi responded to the criticisms through the "stories" feature on his official Instagram page, stating, "Of course there is a dramatic justification for the explosion, as the colonel altered the gunpowder and sold it discussing the corruption of the military institution at that time".

The story of "Mawlana" revolves around the character "Jaber", a man fleeing from a past filled with disappointments after he kills his sister's husband, who used to abuse her.

Jaber finds himself facing a new destiny when he resorts to a daring tactic by claiming a "sacred" lineage in a remote and isolated village called "Al-Adiliyah", which has been left exhausted by long years of waiting and misfortune.

As the events escalate, the false hope that Jaber instilled in the villagers becomes a real force that inspires the people of Al-Adiliyah to cling to life, while he remains trapped in a bitter internal conflict between the sanctity of the mask he wears and the danger of his true identity being exposed at any moment.
