Khaberni - The British newspaper The Athletic mentioned that the management of Real Madrid has established 4 potential scenarios concerning the future of player Vinicius Junior.
News circulated about the desire of Vinicius Junior's agent to visit Saudi Arabia to discuss the offers available for the Brazilian international, indicating that if no agreement is reached with "Khaberni" on a new contract, player number 7 might leave the Bernabeu.
The newspaper stated that Real Madrid considers allowing Vinicius to leave for free in the summer of 2027 a double disaster, financially, with a potential loss exceeding 150-200 million euros from a transfer value that could have been realized, and sportingly, in terms of losing one of the best wingers in the world at the peak of his performance.
It continued: "In Valdebebas, his 'free departure' is seen as an absolute red line, any decision will be taken even if it involves selling below market value to avoid this disastrous scenario."
The newspaper emphasized that the club's management, led by Florentino Perez, has laid out 4 possible scenarios for Vinicius's future with Real Madrid.
First: Renew his contract with the terms he wants, which is to obtain 30 million euros annually, and it said that this possibility is very weak at the moment.
Second: A compromise solution which is a lower salary than requested + a short-term contract with the possibility of renegotiating later.
Third: Sell the player in 2026 or January 2027 to achieve a financial return before the end of the contract.
Fourth: To complete his contract period in full and leave for free in the summer of 2027, and this scenario is considered the worst of all for Real Madrid.
