Khaberni - The Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources announced the competition for exploration licenses in 3 mineral-rich belts covering an area of 13,000 square kilometers, valid until December 15, 2025.

These belts, located in five areas, namely: "Medina, Mecca, Riyadh, Qassim, and Hail, include mining exploration sites that are an extension of the locations offered in the previous competition. Among the most notable is the Nabaiteh/Dehaisheh Ad Dihabi belt, which includes the Dowahei Mine with an annual production capacity of about 180,000 ounces of gold. It also includes the Sakhibra/Al Safra belt, one of the most significant mineral-rich belts containing ores of gold, copper, silver, zinc and nickel, which has undergone numerous exploratory studies over the past decades by the Saudi Geological Survey."
