Khaberni - Minister of Labor Khaled Al-Bakkar said on Monday that the government will soon cancel the decision to end the services of employees after they complete 30 years of service, noting that this decision had been issued by previous governments and will be amended.
Al-Bakkar explained, through "Khaberni" that the current government has studied the decision and found that there is "injustice" that falls on employees who are referred to retirement through this decision when they are at the "peak of their contribution".
He continued that "previous governments had taken a decision that every government employee whose service reaches 30 years must have their services terminated, meaning the minister will recommend terminating their services, and this government is about to amend the decision."
He added that the government is about to amend the decision in order not to unjustly treat this category, indicating that the amendment will not include a specific number of years of service for referring employees to retirement, but it will be until reaching mandatory retirement.
He pointed out that amending this decision will make the government realistic in creating opportunities; explaining that the creation of new job opportunities is through investment, and not through "replacement".
