Khaberni - The chairman of the board of commissioners of the Independent Election Authority, Engineer Musa Maaytah, emphasized the importance of educating youth and their participation in political life, and the necessity of activating their role within the parties.
Maaytah said that the youth are capable of proving their presence on the political scene, playing a real role in public life, and actively participating in the decision-making process through their involvement in organized political work, utilizing all tools of positive change, and choosing their representatives in the Parliament based on competence and party programs.
He explained that the Independent Election Authority had launched the "I Participate" program in cooperation with the Crown Prince Foundation and public and private higher education institutions, aiming to integrate youth into public work as one of the outputs of the Royal Committee for Political Modernization, creating a dialogical space and a debating environment focusing on democracy principles, human rights, and respect for different opinions.
Maaytah added that the authority is committed to enforcing the law, as this reflects the vision of the Jordanian state in continuing the political modernization process.
On his part, Al-Ramahi affirmed that Zarqa University pays great attention to opening dialogue channels and enhancing student awareness of national issues, noting that dialogue seminars are an essential part of the university's mission to build an aware generation capable of positive participation in political life.
He pointed out that the university continues to organize events that support critical thinking and spread the culture of dialogue and community responsibility among its students.
At the end of the lecture, which was managed by the Dean of the College of Educational Sciences Dr. Ali Houriya and the Associate Dean Dr. Mahmoud Marwa, Maaytah answered questions and inquiries from students.
