Khaberni - Mohannad Al-Khatib, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, reported that over 38,000 students submitted electronic applications to benefit from scholarships, grants, and internal loans for the academic year 2025-2026.
Al-Khatib explained on Facebook today, Monday, that about 37,361 students of those who applied have correct and accurate data and have saved the application, while only 1,087 students have erroneous data.
The application process started yesterday, Sunday, and continues until 3:30 PM on Thursday, December 11, 2025, implemented through the ministry at the link (www.dsamohe.gov.jo).
Al-Khatib clarified that students must create a new username and password for this year and not use their last year’s application information.
He mentioned that the high school diploma average displayed on the application screen is the grade point average admitted by the university, and no other average is recognized, even if the student achieves a higher grade after retaking the high school exam.
He added that the district displayed to the student on the application screen is the district listed on the high school transcript and is fixed and cannot be changed under any circumstances, and not the district where the student resides.
He continued that this application includes the following types of grants and loans: full grants from the Royal Hashemite Court, full grants for top students nationwide, full grants for top district students, and full grants for students graduating from schools in the northern and central regions and studying at universities in the south (Al-Hussein Bin Talal University + Tafila Technical University + Al-Balqa Applied University/Southern Region Colleges + The Jordan University/Aqaba Branch), and full grants from the Jordanian Hashemite Fund.
It also includes partial grants (45) credit hours for students who meet the conditions of benefiting from the Royal Grant for the children of teachers working in the Ministry of Education and who have not benefited from this grant, as the ministry will retrieve their information from the Ministry of Education after the application process ends, and no documents are required from them.
It also includes partial grants (45) credit hours for undergraduate students, partial loans (45) credit hours for undergraduate students, and partial grants (45) credit hours for Associate Diploma students.
He noted, “Therefore, you should submit only one application, save it, and the ministry will allow you to compete for those grants/loans applicable to you based on the approved conditions.”
He said the siblings of the applicant who are considered for bonus points are those studying in the Associate Diploma and Bachelor stages only at Jordanian or non-Jordanian higher education institutions in the current first semester 2025-2026, present with him in the same civil record (family book), and studying there; it does not include postgraduate students, nor married siblings in different civil records.
