Khaberni - A 12-minute flight on her private plane has left Kim Kardashian vulnerable to attack, following public accusations of causing unnecessary environmental damage.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian faced widespread backlash after her private jet's movement was tracked during a short flight, sparking outrage among her fans who described her action as akin to a "crime against humanity".

According to "Yahoo", a "Reddit" user monitored the plane's movement and posted an image allegedly showing the flight path on the r/CelebrityJets forum, in order to spark discussion and document the path for followers.

Flight Path and Duration
The published image indicates that Kim's plane took off from "Hollywood Burbank" airport, which is only about nine miles away from "Van Nuys" airport, and the flight lasted only 12 minutes in the air, raising questions about the motives behind this short movement.

Environmental Impact of the Flight
The user who posted the flight details explained that this short move had a clear environmental impact, as it consumed approximately 104 gallons of fuel, costing up to $593, in addition to emitting a full ton of carbon dioxide, which is directly linked to rising global temperatures.

Social media users criticized what they described as unnecessary use of private jets by the wealthy, with some saying: "They should use their legs a little more to get to their flights," while another commented angrily: "It's a crime against humanity."

In contrast, one user attempted to explain the situation, noting that Kim Kardashian was not on board the plane, and commented: "This is a repositioning flight. The plane is empty. I work on the same model and know the pilots. Such flights are used to move the plane to a storage location or to take advantage of a longer runway before long-haul flights."

Daniel Setumbul, a researcher in aviation affairs, pointed out that private jets are among the most significant sources of climate and air pollution, explaining that the average emissions from one such plane are equivalent to those emitted by 177 passenger cars or nine heavy trucks in a year.
