Khaberni - Al-Faisaly has tightened its grip on the top of the Union Shield Championship for the 2025/2026 season, with the conclusion of the sixth week's competitions this evening, Sunday, November 30, with all matches held at Prince Mohammad Stadium in Zarqa.
Al-Baqa’a defeated Al-Sarhan 3-0, with Hamza Al-Sayfi scoring in the 35th and 52nd minutes, and Abdullah Al-Manaseer in the 45th minute.
Al-Faisaly won over Al-Ahli 2-1, following Al-Ahli's initial lead by Hamza Al-Naim in the 44th minute, before Al-Faisaly turned the game around with goals from Jimmy Sayegh in the 62nd minute and Harry Aaron in the 85th minute.
Shabab Al-Ordon defeated Al-Ramtha 1-0, with a goal by Anas Bani Oudeh in the 60th minute.
Al-Salt also won over Al-Hussein 1-0, with a goal by Cheikhna Seimega in the 18th minute.
The round concluded with Al-Jazeera defeating Al-Wehdat 1-0, with the goal scored by Musa Toum in the 57th minute.
With these results, Al-Faisaly continues to lead the standings with 15 points, followed by Al-Salt at 14 points, then Al-Wehdat and Al-Hussein with 11, Al-Baqa’a and Al-Ahli 8, Shabab Al-Ordon 7, Al-Jazeera 5, Al-Sarhan 3, and Al-Ramtha last with one point.
The Union Shield Championship is played in a single-round league format, with the team obtaining the highest number of points crowned as champion, qualifying them to participate in next season’s Super Cup.
The championship is played during international breaks, to allow the maximum number of players to participate, assess their levels, and explore new talents from the age groups.
