Khaberni - As part of Arab Amman University's commitment to enhancing its students' participation in local events, and under the guidance of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Wadiyan, the university president, student Khalid Abd Rahman Al-Khalidi from the College of Information Technology participated in the Southern Martial Arts Championship held in Aqaba city. The championship saw the participation of (296) players from various clubs, competing in the (71) kg weight class against (16) players, with about (17) clubs participating nationwide. Al-Khalidi achieved third place, adding a new achievement to his sports career and reflecting his dedication and persistence in the competition.
In turn, Dr. Mohammad Bin Tarif, Dean of Student Affairs at Arab Amman University, honored student Al-Khalidi, reaffirming the deanery's continuous support for athletic students and encouraging them to participate in local and international championships, monitoring their sports careers, and providing everything necessary for their success and distinction. This participation comes under the supervision of Mr. Malik Aliyan, the gym coach/Department of Sports and Student Activities at the Dean of Student Affairs, who always strives to promote the university's name in various competitions, starting from his commitment to developing students' skills and supporting their sports creativity.
This achievement comes within the framework of Arab Amman University's commitment to supporting and encouraging its students to actively participate in various local and international sports and cultural events and activities, believing in the importance of honing students' talents and developing their skills in different fields.
