Khaberni - The Minister of State for Public Sector Development, engineer Badriya Al-Balbisi revealed that there is a governmental direction to train and qualify government leaders.
Al-Balbisi said during the discussion of the 2026 budget law in the House of Representatives, today, Sunday, that there are various training channels and not only through face-to-face training but also using electronic platforms.
She added that the government aims to train employees on a number of competencies and capabilities in order to build executive leadership.
Al-Balbisi pointed out that these trainings aim to enable employees to climb the career ladder and to qualify the youth to be eligible in the future to take up leadership positions.
She explained that this plan starts with planning, then empowering and training, and then working on qualifying the governmental workforce, and thus being able to improve work in the public sector and apply the principles of accountability and scrutiny.
