Khaberni - The Faculty of Information Technology at the Middle East University organized an extensive orientation meeting for its new students, in an event aimed at acquainting them with the college's educational system and its accredited programs, including foremost, the college's attainment of the international ABET accreditation, one of the most prominent global standards in assessing the quality of engineering and technology programs and aligning them with labor market needs.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Qusai Shambour, and the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Hazem Al-Nasour, along with members of the faculty and administration staff, and a group of students.
During his speech, Dr. Shambour expressed his pride in the new cohort joining the faculty, considering that this stage represents a true starting point for shaping the students' skills and capabilities in the fields of computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and software engineering.
The faculty also honored the top students in its various departments in recognition of their achievements during the previous academic semester, reflecting an institutional approach that focuses on stimulating creativity and scientific achievement.
