Khaberni - The Jordanian Payment and Clearing Systems Company revealed that the value of checks in the electronic clearing system during the ten months from the beginning of this year reached 33.81 billion dinars.
In the same matter, the report issued by the Jordanian Payment and Clearing Systems Company, titled 'Monthly Report of Payment Systems – October 2025', indicated that the number of transactions during that period reached 5.16 million transactions, according to the opinion.
As for the value of circulated checks during the three months from last August to the end of October, the report revealed that their value in August and September consecutively was 3.44 billion dinars each, with 525,000 circulated checks and 539,000 circulated checks respectively. While the value of circulated checks in October reached 3.66 billion dinars, with 516,000 circulated checks.
Regarding the value and number of returned checks in those same three months, the report showed that their value in the eighth month of this year reached 84 million dinars, with 15.6 thousand returned checks. Their value recorded in the following month was 75 million dinars, with 16 thousand returned checks. Whereas the value of returned checks in the tenth month of the current year reached 80 million dinars, with 15.1 thousand returned checks.
