Khaberni - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Saturday that the airspace over and near Venezuela should be considered closed, amidst escalating confrontations with leftist leader Nicolas Maduro.
Trump wrote on Truth Social: "To all airlines, pilots, drug dealers, and human traffickers, please consider the airspace over Venezuela and its surroundings fully closed."
This comes at a time when the Trump administration intensified pressure on Venezuela by deploying a substantial force in the Caribbean, particularly the world's largest aircraft carrier.
