UAE Airbus A320 aircraft inspections commence

Khaberni - The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority confirmed that all national airlines operating Airbus A320 aircraft have currently commenced the required inspection and maintenance procedures.

This announcement was made by the Authority, as part of monitoring the emergency airworthiness notice issued by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency "EASA" concerning the Airbus A320 fleet worldwide.

The Authority also confirmed that it is directly monitoring these procedures with the European agency and the concerned operating companies to ensure full compliance with all safety and airworthiness requirements, ensuring the continuous and secure operation of the fleet and that the aviation movement in the country is not affected.

The Authority also confirmed the commitment of all operating companies to monitor and implement any technical updates issued by the manufacturers or relevant authorities, while the regulatory oversight system in the UAE continues to ensure the immediate and effective application of all safety directives according to the highest international standards adopted in the civil aviation sector.
