Khaberni - A woman ran over a student in front of her school in El Shorouk City in Egypt, in a tragic accident which led the public prosecution to begin extensive investigations, including extracting surveillance camera footage and listening to witness statements, after initial investigations indicated there was a previous dispute between the victim girl and her classmate, the son of the accused woman.
In detail, the emergency operations room received a report from the people about a run-over accident in front of one of the schools in El Shorouk and the immediate death of a girl.
Traffic forces moved to the location, only to find the body of a girl lying on the road with severe fractures in the head and various parts of the body, before it was transferred to the morgue at the disposal of the public prosecution.
The inspection revealed that the accident occurred the moment the student left the school, where she was struck by a car driven by a guardian of one of the students, then continued to surge forward for meters which resulted in trapping the girl under the car creating a scene that shocked those present.
The detectives managed to apprehend the driver of the vehicle and seized the vehicle involved in the incident, while preliminary investigations indicated that the running over was done deliberately due to disputes between the deceased girl and her classmate inside the classroom.
From his side, the girl's father recounted shocking details saying that he had received a call from his daughter two days prior to the incident, informing him of a feud between her and one of her classmates, and that he was intending to follow up on the situation the next day. He added that after taking his children to school on the day of the incident, he returned home before receiving a call informing him of the run-over accident involving his daughter.
The father, through local media, confirmed that eyewitnesses, who were classmates of his daughter, told him that the son of the accused was inside the car at the moment of the accident and pointed at the girl, prompting his mother to drive towards her and run her over directly, demanding just retribution for his daughter.
