Khaberni - The Ministry's Secretary-General, Yazan Al-Khudair, met with a number of tourism sector officials and representatives of tourism and travel companies in Azerbaijan.

During his meeting with the President of the Azerbaijan Tourism Agency, Fuad Nagiyev, Al-Khudair discussed ways to enhance tourism cooperation between the two sides, where the meeting addressed the discussion of opportunities to increase the number of Azerbaijani tourists to Jordan.

Al-Khudair met, in the presence of the Jordanian Ambassador to Baku, Omar Al-Nahar, with the President of the Azerbaijani airline, Samir Rzayev, and also met in the presence of the Deputy Ambassador, Ashraf Al-Qattarneh, with the President of the Association of Tourism and Travel Agents in Azerbaijan and the Member of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Gudrat Həsənquliyev, where they discussed the possibilities of enhancing air links and facilitating tourism programs to the Kingdom.

Organized and coordinated by the Jordanian Embassy in Baku, Al-Khudair held a series of meetings with representatives of major outbound tourism and travel companies in Azerbaijan, during which they discussed the prospects of cooperation and ways to enhance the influx of tourists from the Azerbaijani market, which is considered one of the most prominent emerging markets in Central Asia.

These meetings coincided with the visit of the Ministry's Secretary-General, Yazan Al-Khudair, to the Azerbaijani capital Baku, to participate in the preparatory meetings for the fourth session of the Joint Committee for Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation between Jordan and Azerbaijan.

On the sidelines of the visit, the Jordanian Ambassador to Baku, Omar Al-Nahar, hosted a meeting that brought together the Secretary-General of the Ministry with a number of tourism content creators in Azerbaijan, where Al-Khudair gave a briefing on the Jordanian tourism product and the unique and attractive archaeological and tourist sites in the Kingdom.
