Khaberni - The Middle East University achieved a remarkable feat by recording the highest national performance in the results of the Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS), within two tracks that are considered among the most scientifically advanced and influential internationally, namely artificial intelligence and electrical and electronic engineering.
This ranking is known for being one of the most precise global rankings as it relies entirely on a quantitative methodology based on publication data, citations, and international cooperation, devoid of any self-assessments or opinions.
In the field of artificial intelligence, the Middle East University achieved the highest score among local universities in the global research impact index, which reached 47.2 points, alongside recording a significant value in the research quality index which reached 21.8 points. This performance has placed the university within the global tier (400-301), a rank considered prestigious due to the competitiveness of this field and its direct relation to the future of technology and the digital economy.
In the track of electrical and electronic engineering, the university has solidified its local leadership after recording the highest result in the global research impact with a score of 43.8 points, alongside achieving the highest local value in the research quality index with 9.5 points, in addition to excelling in international collaboration, which reached 20.0 points. This reflects the university's ability to build cross-border research networks and produce quality knowledge with tangible scientific impact.
