Khaberni - Egyptian artist Tamer Hosny is preparing to host a major musical concert at Abdeen Palace in Cairo, on December 20th next, in his first appearance on stage after going through a health issue that required surgical intervention during the past period.
The ticketing company organizing the concert announced via its official account on "Facebook" that the concert will be held as part of a charity art event, where the proceeds will go to support various humanitarian activities, adding that the audience will enjoy an extraordinary evening that includes a collection of Tamer Hosny's most famous songs in a historic ambiance inside one of the most remarkable architectural landmarks in the Egyptian capital.
It is expected that Tamer Hosny will present during the concert a selection of his most prominent old and new songs, amidst a large public presence, amid anticipation for his return to the art scene after a period of treatment and convalescence.
Details of the health crisis
Tamer Hosny previously revealed details of his sudden health crisis, explaining that he underwent a precise surgical operation on his kidneys, during which part of one of his kidneys was removed, after the discovery of a small tumor that required urgent intervention.
The artist mentioned that he did not want to talk about the details of his health condition to preserve his privacy, but the circulation of news about it pushed him to clarify the matter, saying: "I had been suffering from a health crisis in the kidneys for a while, and a few days ago, I had to undergo immediate surgical intervention during which part of the kidney was removed.. Thank God in every circumstance."
According to local media, the crisis began with a small cyst in the kidney, but medical examinations in Germany revealed a limited-size tumor, which saw rapid development, necessitating urgent surgery to remove it, and the removed part is still under laboratory analysis.
Following the operation, Tamer Hosny posted a picture of himself from the hospital on his "Instagram" account, with his daughter Thalia beside him, and sent a message of thanks to his fans and colleagues in the art community for their support and solidarity during his illness, confirming that his health is showing significant improvement and stabilization.
